Free haircuts for the homeless.

 A   haircut  might  not  seem  like  it  could  help  a  homeless  person  out.  But let  us   look  at  it  from  a  different  angle,  if  our  hair  is  not  taken  care  of  it  creates  a  look  that  can  keep  us  from  working  and  other  problems  too.  I  can recall  one  time  when  my  pack  was  homeless.  I went  into  a  store  to buy  items  that  we  needed   to  survived   on  the  streets.  The  greeter  there  had  some  very  lose  lips.  He  went  on  to  describe  a shaggy  looking  guy  that  was  in  there  before  me.  Calling  him  a  bum  because  of  his  hair  being  messed up.  He  was  talking  about  my  dad.  I let  him  continued  to  hanged  himself  some  more  before  mentioning  that  he  was  talking  about  my  dad  even though  i wanted  to  chewed  him  out.  I bit  my tongue  till  i could  not take  anymore.  When  i  told  him  that  was  my  dad,  he  went  silent  on  me.  Not  to  mention  i  recorded  the  conversation  too.  I  then  went  to  speak  to  the  owner  of  the  store,  I  played  the  recording  to  the  owner too.  Explaining  that  my  dad  and  myself  have  come  here  many  times  to  shop  and  buy  items.  I  went  on  to  tell  him  i  did  not  want  the  guy  fired.  I told  him  educating  the  guy  would  be  a  better  option.  I spoke  to  the  owner  for  about  a  half  hour.  And  we  parted  our  way.  He  then  gave  me  a  gift card  for  500  bucks  and  told  me  that  he  would  educate  the  greeter  and  the  rest  of  his  workers  too  on  being  better  people.  I  not  going  to  mention  the  store  name  or  the  guy name either  because  the  problem  was  handled  very  well.  I  used  this  story  as  a  reference  to  how  people  can  profiled  other  people  they  come  into  contact  with  other  people.  This  is  how  a  haircut  can  helped  a  homeless  person too. 

  A  simple  thing  like  a  haircut  can  make  a  person  feel  great  about  themselves.  For  one  thing  they  have  someone  they  can  talk  to  for  a little  while.  This  blog  post  is  about  free  haircuts  for  the  homeless  and  the  barber  business  is  in  Newport Ky  too.  I  drive  past  his  business  everyday  too.  This  is  the  first  time  i  have  heard  anything  about  him  too,  but he  made  the  news  on  channel  9.  If  he  has  a  website  i  will post  it  in the  blog  also.  The  news  article  will  be  added  to  this  blog  also  so  you  can  checked  it  out.
